Come, my friends, and you shall read,
Of the Wyoming hunt and the mighty feed.
Of pot roast big and gunshot long,
And a hunting group, brave and strong.
Of ‘yote killed running by pistol big bore,
(and other ‘xagerations, by the score).
Of mulies taken by just one shot,
And other, after two, that was got.
Of antelopes stalked and taken down,
By only a single, heart-true round.
(Though not many are now alive,
That remember a ‘lope that took five.)
So come, my friends, and you shall read,
